I often feel I am looking back over my shoulder and appreciating life from a new
angle. It’s not one element, but how everything comes together—the land, the rivers,
the plants, the animals, the sky, and the people.. and connecting with the people is
also connecting with nature in times spent together in the landscape among the

| Scout has been creating and leading excursions since 1998. A seasoned mentor and inherent naturalist, she has had the opportunity to explore and discover Earth's diverse gifts and challenges in extraordinary places with extraordinary people throughout the Pacific Northwest Bioregion. Scout has used her background in transformational education and her interest in geology, history, literature, ecology, mysticism, archetypes, and the indigenous and ancient arts to help shape each excursion in each landscape and season. Her work with leaders, and women leaders in particular, informs her commitment to engage each participant in self-discovery and personal evolution as a 21st Century awakened human -- in concert with the Earth and its ordinary and sacred places. She has co-created and offered additional courses and opportunities for women to gather in other vital and unique ways. She considers all those who join her to be her peers.
