Why We Go
At this time in human history, we understand that when
we invite a deeper connection with the natural world to
inform our life, our relationships, and our own purpose, it
fulfills us.
In choosing to do so, we discover a wellspring of love,
hope and strength and re-discover the power and joy in
treating nature with love and respect.

More About What We Do
Together we journey, keenly observing & experiencing through our inherent naturalist's eye
and heart. We share our knowledge of geology, rocks, plants, trees, animals, birds, marine life,
stars, clouds, history, myth, our place, our heart, the life around us.
Alone and together we explore, walk, hike, nap, sit in circle, and sit solo. We journal, share
sacred stories and sacred silence.
We travel and meet the ones who reside in the forests, the mountains, and along the seascapes.
The 4-leggeds: deer, antelope, horse, coyote, cougar; the winged ones: hawk, eagle, magpie,
jay, wren, vulture, gull, plover, crane, heron, quail; the water-dwellers: whale, seal, otter,
beaver, muskrat, salmon, trout, frog; the unique: snake, snail, spider. We join them in their
territory in deep curiosity and reverence.
We learn the lichens, grasses, trees. We read the sky, sit upon the dirt and break bread
together, sharing wholeheartedly and for a time, fall into love, care and generosity.
We build our strength for the return to our communities and these times.
